Renovate (Triclopyr)

Renovate is an aquatic herbicide used to control certain submerged, floating and emergent aquatic plants including water milfoil, purple loosestrife and other broadleaf (dicot) aquatic species while not harming monocot species such as cattails and grasses. The liquid formulation, Renovate 3, is ideal for spraying on the adjacent banks and shorelines of lakes, ponds and non-irrigation canals which have little or no continuous flow. Renovate OTF Granular is perfect for spot treating Eurasian water milfoil along beaches and around docks and is also the better formulation for deep water applications. Renovate carries no restrictions on recreational use such as swimming and fishing, or on livestock consumption of water from the treatment area and can be used near active potable water intake.
